Your money can enable people on the margins to speak out and help build a fairer society

Martin GreenOn £144 benefits a week, I and my friend Frank had six children to feed plus ourselves – if we fed ourselves. I had to depend on a food bank to survive. I felt ashamed standing in the queue, knowing that people going past would think I was a scrounger.

Then I got the opportunity to work with Church Action on Poverty. They opened my eyes to injustice, and gave me courage to speak out. I’m now running an End Hunger campaign and working with Church Action on Poverty to set up a Local Pantry.

Please make a donation to Church Action on Poverty. Your money can help more people like me to speak out about our own experiences of poverty, challenge injustice, and work for a fairer society with a narrower gap between rich and poor.
